v92 client and v93 service

If we have a v9 DOORS database being controlled by a v9.3.0.2 service and accessed by v9.3.0.2 clients, is there any problems what-so-ever with a rouge DOORS v9.2.0.1 client accessing that v93 database? I see we can indeed do it, just worried that maybe it would erase somebody's data.

I don't believe anybody is using any of the new features provided by the newer versions of DOORS.

Louie,

Well I wouldn't think it would hurt anything since the 9.3 install or managing guide says that any DOORS 9.x clients can access any DOORS 9.x servers.

However, you can apparently go to the 9.3 server via the client and logged on as Administrator via File-> Properties-> Login Policy Tab and then limit the clients to only the DOORS 9.3 version, then the rogue DOORS 9.2 or 9.1 or 9.0 client users would be denied access and need to update to 9.3 in order to gain access.
